Disability support in Gold Coast
Individualised NDIS support across Gold Coast for Plan-Managed and Self-Managed participants — including weekend, overnight and short-notice cover.
The Gold Coast is where Gold Coast Devoted Care is based, and it is where most of our support is delivered. We work from the northern corridor through the central suburbs to the southern end of the city.
Suburbs we cover
Coomera, Upper Coomera, Pimpama, Ormeau, Helensvale, Oxenford, Nerang, Southport, Labrador, Ashmore, Bundall, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach, Miami, Burleigh Heads, Varsity Lakes, Robina, Mudgeeraba, Palm Beach, Currumbin, Coolangatta and the surrounding suburbs.
If your suburb is not on that list it is worth asking — the boundaries are not as fixed as a map suggests.
Local knowledge that actually helps
Support on the Gold Coast is not only about what happens inside the house. A few things we use regularly with participants:
- Free beach wheelchairs at Burleigh. There is a self-service lockbox at Justins Park, just north of the Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park Surf Life Saving Club. No booking required during patrol hours.
- Permanent beach matting at Broadwater Parklands in Southport, available year round.
- Weekend beach equipment at several surf clubs including Nobby's Beach and Surfers Paradise, generally through the warmer months. Worth ringing the club first.
- Bookable beach wheelchairs through Gold Coast Recreation & Sport at Southport on weekdays.
Availability, seasons and hours change. We check before we plan an outing around them.
