Accessibility statement
This website exists to serve people with disability. It should be usable by everyone, and if it is not, we want to know.
What we have aimed for
This website has been designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. In practice that includes:
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page
- A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page
- Full keyboard operation, with a clearly visible focus indicator
- Text and interface colours checked for contrast; colour is never the only way information is conveyed
- Touch targets sized for people with limited dexterity
- Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages and no reliance on placeholder text
- Motion kept minimal, and reduced or removed entirely when your device requests reduced motion
- Text that can be resized and reflows without loss of content
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers
- Plain-language content, written to be understood without NDIS knowledge
What we have not done
We have not installed an accessibility overlay or toolbar. Overlays are widely criticised by people who actually use assistive technology, and they are not a substitute for building the site properly.
We also have not had this site independently audited yet, so we are not claiming certified compliance. We are telling you what we have built for and inviting you to tell us where it falls short.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this website is difficult to use, please contact us and we will fix it and, if you would like, provide the information you were after in whatever format suits you.
